Terms of Service
Short version. This site is my personal portfolio. Look around, download my CV, and chat with the assistant. Don't abuse it, and don't treat the chat as professional advice or a binding offer.
1. Agreement
These terms apply to your use of nazmulhasanrupom.com (the "Site"), operated by Nazmul Hasan Rupom ("I", "me") from Dhaka, Bangladesh. By using the Site you agree to these terms and to my Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. What the Site is
The Site presents my work as an AI automation engineer: an about section, project list, CV, links to my profiles, and an "Ask Nazmul" chat assistant. It is provided for information and to help people get in touch with me.
3. No client relationship from the Site alone
Nothing on the Site, including my availability, rates, timelines and anything the chat assistant says, is an offer, quote or contract. Paid work only begins when we agree on scope, price and terms in writing, for example through an Upwork contract or a signed agreement. Those terms then govern that work, not this page.
4. The AI chat assistant
- Replies are generated by an AI model and may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. They are not professional, legal, financial or technical advice.
- The assistant speaks about me but is not me. It cannot make commitments on my behalf.
- Do not enter passwords, payment details, confidential business information or other sensitive personal data.
- I may log, review, limit or block chat use to keep the service working and secure.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- attack, overload, probe or scan the Site or the chat endpoint, or attempt to bypass rate limits or security measures;
- send spam, malware or unlawful, harassing or abusive content;
- use scripts or bots to scrape the Site at scale or to automate the chat;
- try to manipulate the assistant to reveal system instructions, misuse its model access, or produce harmful content;
- impersonate me or misrepresent your connection with me.
I may restrict or block access at any time if I think these rules are being broken.
6. Intellectual property
The Site's text, design, photographs and CV are mine unless noted otherwise, and are all rights reserved. You may view them, link to the Site, and download my CV for the purpose of considering me for work. Please do not copy, republish or sell them without permission. Third-party names, logos and trademarks (such as n8n, Upwork, LinkedIn, GitHub, Claude, OpenAI and others) belong to their owners and are mentioned only to describe tools and platforms I use. My public repositories on GitHub are licensed under the terms stated in each repository.
7. Your content
When you send a message or email, you keep ownership of it, and you give me permission to use it to reply, to operate and improve the assistant, and to keep records as described in the Privacy Policy. Please only send content you have the right to share.
8. Links to other sites
The Site links to services I do not control, such as LinkedIn, Upwork and GitHub. I am not responsible for their content, availability or practices.
9. Accuracy and availability
I try to keep the Site accurate and current, but details such as project descriptions, statistics, stack lists and availability can change without notice. The Site may be unavailable, changed or removed at any time.
10. Disclaimer
The Site and chat assistant are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profit or business, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or from relying on the chat assistant. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent the law allows. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot legally be limited.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Dhaka have jurisdiction over disputes, unless mandatory consumer law where you live says otherwise. If you have a concern, please email me first and I will try to resolve it informally.
13. Changes
I may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest revision, and continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
